PETA says "Don't Wear Fur!... Unless You're Homeless."
PETA has to be one of the stupidest things on the face of the planet. One thing they always protest is fur. They insult celebrities and call them ugly and skank and we wonder why celebs do drugs. They have no right to do that. Anyway, they're also hypocrites. PETA wants you to donate your fur clothing so they can use multi-thousand dollar stoals for bedding for needy animals. Dude, you could sell the fur and buy beds for a hundred needy animals instead of just helping out one or two. Also then they have fur kitchens as they call them to give fur coats to the homeless because that's okay? Animals were still tortured and died for it, dumb ass. It's only okay to wear fur if you're poor and not if you're rich? Rich people are the only people who can buy fur! Oxymoron alert. Do you really think any of those homeless people are keeping those furs? If you're homeless, you go to the nearest pawn shop and get money for your next meal. If you want to affect the real America, go stand outside of a McDonalds and protest meat. More Americans are buying a Big Mac than a mink stole, I promise you. Fur is a resource that has been used for thousands of years because it works. Humans kill animals. It's a way of life that's kept us going. Besides, I want every PETA member to go to the coldest part of Russia in the winter and be stripped of their clothes. Then I want to offer them a fur coat or they can stay naked. See how many would really rather go naked than wear fur.

How To Be Black: Courtesy Of "Black" Magazines
Gosh! I am so sick of walking into any given store from a countrywide chain to a gas station and seeing black magazines. It just sickens me. Not because of the unfair and hypocritical biased nature of it but because it's so competely unfair to black people. Sure, a few years ago, we needed black magazines because magazines never really featured black people but that's not the case today. Certainly not requiring the presence of sooooo much "black" media. This is why I see so many black people hassle other black people for acting too "white" and not "black" enough so they must be betraying their race and hate themselves for being black. The magazines like Black Hair says "You're black. These hair styles are appropriate for you." Magazines like Black Woman says "You're a black woman. These are things you should be interested in." Heck. You can even get all black porn magazines featuring the stereotypical "bootylicious" black female. It treats black people like they're an alien species that can't like anything that's not deemed black by a very small group of of people interested in profit and promoting whatever for their own monetary benefits. I do believe race exists (naturally someone from Scandinavia isn't of the same genetic makeup as someone from Nubia) but I don't believe just because you're black that you should have to like rap music or be ghetto or you're not "behaving black" enough. I don't see magazines for the black businessperson getting very much exposure among the common public. Many don't even know they exist. Things like hair magazines, I can understand to an extent because we all have different hair types but there are white people with what's considered "black" hair and there are black people with what's considered "white" hair so really, it'd do more greater good to just have one magazine cover all hair types. We don't have Thin Hair Monthly or Curly Hair Weekly. Also another thing that gets me is that they say Black in the title but then they have mixed models and people featured in it. Call it Mixed magazine if you're going to do that. Or better yet, leave race out altogether and just feature people regardless of race who are in the field of the magazine's topics. Then everyone wins. On the whole, magazine sales go up because it doesn't only attract one race and scare the other ones off. Yes, I mean scare. I, as a white person, have actually been laughed at for skimming through a "black" magazine. That would encourage me to not look at them anymore, much less buy them. Also besides increased magazines sales, we can find a little more unity as humans.

I Dread Black History Month
Black history month has to be the most hypocritical and useless holiday in the world. It's the same crap every single year. You read about Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks and so on. Now we have Obama. One new figure in twenty years and he's only half black. That's another thing that makes me mad. Black history month wants to promote black history. Well shouldn't you promote um... full black figures? No, I'm not being racist but you don't see them promoting 1/4 black people. Only 1/2 black and above. So that's hypocritical. They only promote black figures they believe are black enough to count by some irrational and impossible standard. Obama: 1/2 black and Malcolm X: 1/4 black. Also they never promote white people who had a major part in black history like Abe Lincoln. They never mention William E. Walling, Mary White Ovington or Henry Moskowitz who were whites involved with helping the N.A.A.C.P. get started. No offense (because America was run by white people at the time), but nothing would have ever happened for black people without the white people who wanted to change it. No matter how hard they tried, no progress would have been made without the help of white people but white people are portrayed only in bad light. We don't hear anything about the real black figures that started the whole movement and without them, Martin and Malcolm would have never existed as historical figures. We never hear about Ida B. Wells or Dread Scott. These are the people who started it all. Also then there's the whole thing about "We need black history month because it's not taught in school." What people don't seem to want to acknowledge is that early American history- THERE WERE NO BLACK PEOPLE. It was Native Americans and Europeans. Also we learn so little about Native Americans but no one complains. We have few resources to learn about Native American history. Anyway, when the black people did come to America, they were slaves. They couldn't do anything really noteworthy like discoveries and such (they didn't have the resources or freedoms to do so). They just did chores and work. It's not their fault but black people didn't become major parts of history until the time period surrounding the civil war. Anything before that, all that history would just be about slavery and there's only so much you can learn about that. However I would like to see more work on slavery in the books so that everyone can see slavery wasn't as bad as everything thinks. I'm not saying it was a good thing but not all slaves were beaten and lynched. Look at it like this: a slave was a tool of the farmer's trade. To damage a slave would be like a jockey breaking the legs of his prize winning race horse. It wouldn't be economically a very good idea. Anyway for a good one hundred to two hundred years, that was all that black history was. After that, black history fills our history books because it was a major part of USA. What also bothers me is that no one complains about learning Australian history, Eastern Asian history, Middle Eastern history, African history or South American history. We learn absolutely zilch about those cultures. Black and white people aren't the only people in America. The other races get little resources to learn about their cultures and histories in schools.

93 Year Old Marvin E. Schur Freezes To Death In Michigan
On January 17, 2009 in Bay City, Michigan, 93 year old Marvin E. Schur froze to death in his home. The indoor temperature of his house was 32 degrees. There was ice on the windows when his body was discovered by his neighbor George Pauwels Jr. His power was limited due to over $1,000 in upaid electric bills and the limit "maxed out" sometime during the freezing temperatures which lead Marvin to die slowly of hypothermia alone in his home. This is really sick. Yes, you should pay your bills but there should be laws against turning power off when the temperature drops below a certain level. Or since they have special devices they install to limit power, they should invent something to allow heaters to still work or something. Every year, I read about at least one or two people dying because of this. It's really just a waste. Bay City Manager Robert Belleman says that neighbors need to keep and eye on neighbors and go through proper channels when they believe something is wrong. That's ridiculous. Not everyone has neighbors to check on them. Marvin was a widow and had no children. He didn't deserve to die alone simply because he didn't have the money to pay for his bills. If the temperature drops below 60 degrees, power companies should not be able to cut off power regardless. What if Marvin had had a grandchild with him? The child would have died too on top of seeing their grandfather dead. But I guess since Marvin didn't have any family, he's low priority as there is no family to sue for damages. People like Marvin fall into a low place on the ladder and it's a shame. Just because you've lived for over 90 years doesn't mean you deserve to die alone while freezing to death.

Nadya Sulman: 33 Year Old Mother of 14
Nadya Suleman is a 33 year old mother of 14. She became pregnant through vitro fertizilation which means these children weren't the product of a relationship. Her mother Angela says Nadya has wanted children since she was a teenager. Child services nor the hospital should allow a single woman deliberately have 8 children. Even more so when she's already got 6 young children aged 2-7 at home. It's not that I don't believe in the whole single woman empowerment thing. My mom is a single mother. However children have a right to two parents: both on an emotional and financial level. She's taken that right away from them. Just because you can have children, doesn't mean you should. When those kids have Father's Day and father-daughter dances, mom can't be dad. When they're at their weddings, there's no dad to walk them down the aisle. They should really have laws against this. It doesn't matter if you're a millionaire. You shouldn't be raising 14 children without two parental figures involved. As a result, Angela is helping to raise her grandchildren. Yes, grandparents should help out but they're older and they can't raise 14 children. That's a lot of work that they didn't have a hand in. Grandparents aren't there to raise your children. They're there to help of course to a degree but not full fledge raise them.

Do We Really Need Gay Marriage?
I consider myself a very open and accepting person. I have no problem with gay people. If you're in love, good for you. However do we really need gay marriage? I see no point in straight or gay marriage. I mean most people get married for religious reasons and most religions ban gay marriage so it would only be a gay marriage in a legal sense. Also why is marriage so important anyway? Half of marriages end in divorce. Until gay marriage became legal, gay people were the only people lucky enough not have to bother with marriage because the "man were keeping them down." In a straight relationship, eventually one of the people wants to get married and if the other one doesn't, the relationship usually goes down the drain (how do you go on after "No, honey. I don't want to marry you. I just want to have extramarital sex with you and hang out."?). Gay people were the only ones lucky enough who never had to deal with marriage. You see gay people be in a relationship for sixty years who were never married. I can't name one marriage I've seen last longer than two and that was because the woman got pregnant. My mom has been married almost thirty years. Of course, that's because she hasn't seen her husband in almost twenty of those years, since she met my dad and had me. So I guess like the only way to make a marriage work is that you don't have any contact with them for almost two decades. Anyway back to the subject. Now thanks to gay marriage being made legal, everyone has to commit. So in turn, making gay marriage legal is really going to ruin a lot of gay relationships. All the LBTG groups are like "Everyone has the right to marry." Marriage in America is not sacred. You can get married at Wal-Mart. Marriage worked from BC to the 1900s because people only lived to be like 30 years old. By the time you actually got married, you would of died of old age before you had the chance to even think about divorce. Now people are living to be over a hundred years old. Nelson Mandela spent almost thirty years in African prison. He then divorced his wife six months after his release. A man can survive three decades of imprisonment in an African jail but can't handle six months of marriage? So now everyone in America has the right to marry whoever they want and be miserable until their divorce is finalized and start the vicious cycle over again.

Solution To The Possibility That Black Americans Are Sent To Jail More Than White Americans
There's probably about a million articles on the web about black Americans being sent to jail more so than whites and face unfair discrimination in their sentencing. I've never been to jail so obviously I don't know what the court system is like. However the fact that I haven't been jail is not because of my race. It's because I don't break the law! It's entirely possible the justice system is biased. Then again it's entirely possible it's not. Either way, follow one simple rule and you'll never have to deal with it: Don't break the law. If the court system is biased and more prone to put black Americans in jail, it doesn't mean they don't deserve it. They broke the law. Just because it's possible a few more white people get off the hook for crime, doesn't excuse the fact that a black person broke the law. They still have to be punished. They get a long sentence? Tough luck. You shouldn't have broken the law in the first place. Then you wouldn't have to deal with it at all. Black, white or candy apple red, if you're a criminal, you have to be punished. So if you don't want to deal with the justice system giving you an unfair sentence, follow the law.

Celebrity Baby Names
It seems with every celebrity pregnancy, some baby name (or two) you've never heard of follows with it. While some turn out incredibly beautiful like Shiloh Nouveau and Vivienne Marcheline, most aren't so lucky. Also to all those who say Angie's crazy, do you really think someone who named their child Apple or Pilot Inspektor is playing with a full deck? The newest and possibily the worst child name I've heard so far is not the first name but the middle name... Bronx Mowgli Wentz. What the heck are you thinking naming your child after a Disney character from the Jungle Book? Also it's not bad enough that you named them after the Jungle Book but the fact that you actually take pride in the name thinking you've done a good job. Why The Jungle Book of all things anyway? You couldn't pick a Disney movie where the characters had normal names like Pocahontas or The Little Mermaid (save for the name Flounder, The Little Mermaid had normal names). Also just so everyone is aware, the name Mowgli is not a real name. Rudyard Kipling (the guy who wrote The Jungle Book) made it up. In other words, they would have done a better job naming him Baloo (Baloo means bear in Hindi) or Bagheera (Bagheera means panther in Hindi). At least those are real words that are unique with some pretty cool meanings for Hollywood. Naming your child Mowgli is like naming them Frodo or Bilbo. You're begging for your child (pardon my French) to have their ass kicked on a daily basis. I really feel sorry for their future teachers because they'll have to defend the names with a straight face when they other kids tease them. Well it's not surprising. Look who named him: The younger sister of the world's dumbest unnatural blonde and a rock star who wears eyeliner better than his wife. Whatever happened to naming your children Anna or Lara or William or Jack?

Obama Is Biased
Obama is half black and half white. Nothing more. Nothing less. You can't just call yourself black and it's so. He's the same amount of black that he is white which gives him no obligation to chose white over black or black over white. He should describe himself as biracial and respect both races. His given reason for calling himself black is that he relates to black people more so than white people. For a man who grew up with white influences, not the south side of Detroit, I don't see how you can relate to a race you never really came to know. Besides Your race has nothing to do with your personality or who you are in your mind anyway. Just because you're black, that doesn't mean you'll relate to black people more than Middle Eastern people and just because you're white, that doesn't mean you'll relate to white people more than Eastern Asian people. Obama is under the impression that all white people are the same and all black people are the same by his wording which would mean he groups a few billion white AND black people under the same stereotype in his mind which could either be implied as racist and/or ignorant.

We'll Cancel Christmas Traditions For The Muslim Students Who Might Not Like It
Zaragoza, Spain (2006) - Schools banned Christmas on the grounds that Muslim students may not like it. -Spain is a Christian country. Not a Muslim country. Do you think a Muslim country would ban their Islamic holidays like Ramadan on the grounds that non-Muslims may not like it? Nope, they wouldn't. They'd probably expell you for suggesting such an idea.
San Diego, USA (2007) - Schools allow Muslim students to pray in seperate rooms during the day while Christian and Jewish students do not. -America is the land of religious freedom but you don't give equal rights to all religions? What is that? Oxymoron.
I have no problem with Muslims coming to America and getting freedoms and resources they didn't previously have. What I have a problem with that Muslims, who are not American citizens and have no plans to become one, come to America and demand rights that the citizens don't have and they actually get them! What the heck is that? Muslims come into the USA and the UK and change laws and customs that have been for hundreds of years, making life harder and unfair to the citizens. Also for example, schools can be forced to have Islamic diets but not for Jewish or vegetarian/vegan diets. What right do foreigners have to come here and make life harder for citizens? No offense. We're not treating everyone equal and isn't that what America is all about?

Spanking In School... On TV... Is Legal... And Encouraged?
The Crime TV's show The Principal's Office shows an array of out-of-the-norm incidents that principals deal with. Pretty funny. However one principal in Arkansas is out of line. By Arkansas law, teachers can spank their students with a big hunk of wood known as a paddle. As if that isn't bad enough, you've got a sixty something year old man spanking thirteen and fourteen year on girls behind a closed door. That's just sick. If it was a woman, it wouldn't be as bad but a man doing it is just perverted. Also they basically force the students to choose the paddle as punishment because they're saying "Get spanked three times for a few seconds or have detention for a week and let it go in your records and call your parents." Also the principal doesn't have to inform parents that he spanked their children. And it obviously doesn't work because you're giving a kid about ten minutes of a pain in the butt which they forget twenty minutes later. Then future schools have no knowledge of how much they acted up. It's ridiculous and outdated. If you really want to punish a teenager, take away their Saturday and stick them in detention. They're going hurt a lot more for that than a ten second spanking.

Racial Discrimination Groups Will Fight Any Racial Discrimination You Face... If You're The "Right" Race Of Course
I'm all for racial equality. However a lot of discrimination groups are pretty useless. The NAACP being the biggest one in my opinion. I believe the NAACP has done its job. It needs to step aside and disappear. Now, it just causes more problems for people. All the NAACP does now is say "If you need help for racial discrimination and you're black, come on in. If you're not, screw you." While a million people say "The NAACP is for all kinds of discrimination. Not just black." Well I doubt that if any of the white children in the USA called the NAACP and told them that the black students and teachers used racial slurs, that the NAACP is going to run to their aid." We have thousands of groups in the USA for racial discrimination. However if you aren't a certain race, you can't get help. Isn't that an oxymoron for the record books? "We're here to help you if you're discriminated against. Oh you're [insert race here]? Sorry, we can't help you. You're not the right race." If we took all the resources the NAACP and other rights groups have and combined to help EVERYONE, we'd have a lot more for the greater good. Another thing that ticks me off is that white people have absolutely ZERO resources for discrimination and ZERO sympathy. If a white person is told "You're fired because you're white," there is absolutely nothing they can do about it. Sure, you can report it. Will it do any good? Probably not. If a black person is told "You're fired because you're black." the NAACP would be in there the same day and the CEO would be firing people left and right who may have done anything remotely racist. People think that because white people are the majority that they have no problems. They do. They're the only race the government can legally turn down for things like school applications and jobs thanks to "quotas." That means you could be a white person with a 4.0 GPA but if a school has to abide by a quota, a black person with a 2.3 GPA will get in over you. How is that fair? It's not just white people that get turned down too. Blacks, Native Americans, Hispanics, Asians and so on all get turned down because of this. Also I would like to know who they make their quotas. If you're half black and half Chinese, do you go into the Asian quota or the black quota? Or do you get your own little box in the "mixed race" pile? The best deserve to excell. Why work so hard to get told you can't do something not because you're no qualified, but because of something that has nothing to do with anything? I know there has been a ton of discrimination in the past in the USA but it's not the same anymore. It's not even the same as it was five and ten years ago. People can say I'm Irish-Chinese-Nubian-Egyptian-English and no on cares. It doesn't matter. The government wants to solve racial discrimination by discriminating based on race? Yeah. Whoever came up with that idea surely deserves the Nobel Prize.

Light Skinned Blacks Vs Dark Skinned Blacks
Mocha, Milk Chocolate, Honey, Dark Chocolate and Caramel. Sounds like ingredients for a candy bar but not in this case. It's some of the many terms that black people use to describe their skin tone. I see so many things about this that it sickens me. Posts that say white people treat light skinned blacks better and even that black people treat light skinned blacks better. What's the deal?! When white person looks at a black person, they're going to think "Oh. A black person." They're not going think "Oh. A caramel skinned black person." or "Oh. A milk chocolate skinned black person." When white people look at other white people, they don't think "Oh. An ivory skinned white person." or "Oh. A beige skinned white person." They think "Oh. A white person." White people divide white people into two colors: Tanned and Pale/Untanned. I don't get how black people want to divide themselves based on something like skin tone after what so many people went through to stop discrimination based on skin tone. Also so many people have tried to stop the idea that your skin tone makes you superior and you see soooo many black people (especially women) act like they are the gift to the world simply because they're a maybe one or two shades paler. There's nothing wrong with being any skin tone. There's nothing wrong with changing your skin tone by tanning or skin lightening or thinking your skin tone is beautiful. Just don't think it makes you above everyone else.

Obama: The First Black President
Headlines are popping up all over about America's first black president. I'm not an ethnicity expert but in order to be black, don't you have to be uh... black? Can you be black without having two black parents? It leads me to think Obama is biased on race. Race isn't the same as it was fifty or even ten years ago. People now call themselves mixed with no problem. You're practically expected to. There's no law or social stigma that says "You MUST pick a side" and if there is to some people, Obama should have broken it. Calling yourself anything but mixed is disrespectful. It's like saying one side of your family doesn't exist. I find it sickening in Obama's case considering his mother went through so much to raise him while I believe he said that he's met his father twice and doesn't care for him. Obama claims he relates better to black people. That's entirely impossible to say you could relate better to someone who has ancestors from South Africa than you would with someone with ancestors from England. Also what about mixed people? Can he relate to them less than black people but more than white people? I also don't like his stance on the "black" church. There's no such thing as a black church. There's the Church of God and it accepts everyone. So a black church has to be one of the ultimate oxymorons. If you're half black, are you allowed in or are you too white? Is there a blood quantum requirement to worship God? So I believe Obama believes he has more of a fan base if he calls himself black. The sad thing is that he does. It's completely ridiculous. Obama had the chance to blur racial lines forever by calling himself mixed and all he did was further define them. Also why are so many people saying that Obama is giving hope to black people by proving they really can become president? All Obama proved was that a half-black man from a rich family with a Harvard education could become president. If you ask me, I think Bush proved anyone could do anything. I mean look at Bush. If it wasn't enough of a breakthrough to prove that America would elect a man of lesser-than-average intelligence, we turned around and proved we would elect him again! If that's not proving everyone has an equal oppertunity, I don't know what is. Also I can't help but think that when America gets a full black president (and eventually we will), that the history books will quickly change Obama from the honor of first black president to that of the first mixed president.
